Salaheddine Mezouar is a Moroccan politician and the former Minister of Foreign Affairs. In 2004, Salaheddine was appointed Minister of Industry, Trade and Restructuring of the Economy. In October 2007, Salaheddine was appointed Minister of Finance and the Economy. In January 2010, Mezouar was elected president of the National Rally of Independents party.

From 1986 to 1991, Salaheddine served as the Division Head and Policy Officer for the Moroccan Port and Harbors Authority (ODEP). Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director of a private sector textiles company and as Chairman of the supervisory board of Maroc Telecom S.A. (now known as Itissalat Al Maghrib (IAM) S.A.). Salaheddine holds an Executive Management degree from INSEAD Fontainebleau (France), a higher diploma in Business Administration from Casablanca’s Institute Superior de Commerce et d’Administration des Enterprises (ISCAE), a postgraduate diploma (DEA) and a master’s degree in Economic Science and Development Economics from Grenoble University of Social Sciences in France.
