Bart de Vos joined The Hague Institute as an intern in August 2016. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Groningen. During his graduate studies Bart attended Leiden Universities’ Honors Academy. He wrote his master’s thesis on the international response to the 2014-2015 Ebola outbreak in West Africa.
Prior to joining The Hague Institute, Bart completed an internship at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After his internship, he continued to work at the Ministry as a Project Officer. In this capacity, he organized a large international conference on independent Russian language media. In his spare time Bart volunteers as an Associate Students’ Editor at E-International Relations.
Bart speaks Dutch and English fluently.
