Lecture: Dr. Jennifer Welsh on the Responsibility to Protect

The UN Special Adviser on the Responsibility to Protect to the UN Secretary General, Assistant Secretary-General Jennifer Welsh, gave a keynote address on R2P on 23 October at The Hague Institute for Global Justice.

Dr. Welsh was previously a Professor of International Relations and Co-Director of the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict at the University of Oxford, and has additionally taught at McGill University, the University of Toronto, and Central European University. She has written and edited numerous influential books and articles. This event was open to the public.
