How can the Netherlands effectively address emerging global challenges? The Hague Institute for Global Justice convened three high-level conferences exploring this question, and the formulation and implementation of Dutch foreign policy, including the role of the Netherlands at the United Nations.
Together, the three events featured former Dutch Political Directors from the Foreign Ministry, policy and practitioner experts, and former Permanent Representatives to the UN. The series culminated on 11 December with a panel of former consecutive Ministers of Foreign Affairs.

The second event, held on UN Day, focused on Dutch multilateral engagement and UN Security Council reform. Panel members were consecutive former Permanent Representatives of the Netherlands to the United Nations in New York. | Download the event program [PDF]
