Shaka Ssali speaks with Dr. Lyal Sunga about the ICC ruling

In a recent interview on Straight Talk Africa, Dr. Lyal Sunga addressed the ICC ruling which dropped the case against Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto. Dr. Sunga also discussed the difficulty of the ICC to conduct investigations and the importance of state cooperation.

“There’s little doubt that the crimes were committed, we see that in the victims but the responsibility for that and the organizational planning in terms of orders and subordinates is not that easy to prove in all cases.”
