The Middle East: Testing the Boundaries

Organized by the Fanack Chronicle for the Middle East and North Africa, and hosted by The Hague Institute for Global Justice, this Fanack MENA Debate, titled The Middle East: Testing the Boundaries, discussed the present and future situation of the Middle East and North Africa region.

United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Mrs. Sigrid Kaag delivered a keynote speech on: ‘UN in the Middle East: Reflections on Syria and Lebanon’. Mrs. Kaag’s presentation was followed by a Q&A session moderated by diplomatic expert Mr. Robert van de Roer. The panel will address the topic question: Is war the new norm in the Middle East?
