European Georgia: State of Play and Ways Ahead

The Hague Institute and the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands were pleased to host a lecture by David Bakradze, State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, on European Georgia: State of Play and Ways Ahead.

In his presentation, State Minister Bakradze discussed Georgia’s European identity, outlining key aspects of its European aspiration and highlighting its democratic transformation in spite of ongoing challenges in the region and wider Europe.

As the launch of the new EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy was drawing near, State Minister Bakradze also shared Georgia’s views on common security challenges and the European Neighbourhood Policy.
