Distinguished Speaker Series with H.E. Hashim Thaçi, President Elect of the Republic of Kosovo

As part of the Institute’s Distinguished Speaker Series, The Hague Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo were pleased to convene a lecture by H.E. Hashim Thaçi, President Elect of the Republic of Kosovo, on “Kosovo: Working for the Future.”

In his remarks, President Elect Thaçi, slated to take office on 7 April,  discussed Kosovo’s achievements in building peace and stability in the region, including the process of normalization of relations with Serbia, the role of Kosovo as a partner of the international community in promoting reconciliation and inter-ethnic understanding, and the ongoing challenges in tackling the Middle East refugee crisis.
